Freelancer Overview

I am a software developer and Biomedical Science student with a 5-year background in Mechanical Engineering. My path has been a bit unconventional, but it has given me a really solid foundation in how to break down complex systems, solve problems logically, and pay close attention to detail. I'm entirely self-taught in coding, meaning I know how to learn difficult concepts quickly and apply them practically to get things working. Whether I'm building a backend database from scratch, figuring out the logic for a project, or checking code for errors, I focus heavily on making sure the work is accurate and structurally sound. Outside of writing my own code, I also spent time tutoring junior engineering students in calculus. That experience was incredibly valuable because it wasn't just about knowing the math. It was about spot-checking someone else's work, identifying exactly where their logic broke down, and explaining how to fix it in a way that made sense. I am completely comfortable working through dense technical or mathematical problems, and I know how to use my engineering and development skills to look at a technical challenge and systematically work through it until it's right.
