Freelancer Overview

While I don't have formal paid experience as an AI trainer or data labeler, I have hands-on ML project work that maps directly to these tasks. As part of my coursework at Innopolis University, I trained and evaluated simple ML models on labeled datasets and worked through the full train/eval/iterate loop, which gave me a practical understanding of why clean, consistent labels matter and how noisy data degrades model performance. On the project side, I co-developed FaceGuard, a Raspberry Pi face-recognition door lock using Python and InsightFace - there I worked with face embeddings, similarity thresholds, and the trade-offs between precision and recall, which is essentially ranking and classification judgment at the model level. I also built a chatbot backend in Python during a hackathon, which involved intent routing and hand-curated response mapping - work very close in spirit to supervised fine-tuning data preparation. Im comfortable reading and writing technical English (B2), I follow written instructions carefully, and I'm used to self-directed, detail-sensitive work - I shipped a game on Steam as a co-developer and maintained it with patches based on user feedback, so Im familiar with iterating on output quality against a moving spec. I'm quick to learn domain-specific guidelines and labeling conventions, reliable with deadlines, and happy to start with simpler tasks (classification, ranking, instruction following) before moving into more open-ended code review or RLHF-style work as I build familiarity with the OpenTrain AI workflow.
