My experience with AI training and data quality comes from hands-on application rather than a traditional labeling background. As co-founder of Vantage AI, I worked directly with large language models to build and deliver client projects — actively writing, testing, and refining prompts to improve output quality, and evaluating generated content for accuracy, tone, and task alignment before it ever reached a client. This iterative process of prompting, assessing output, identifying what fell short, and adjusting my approach is directly transferable to AI training and feedback workflows. That practical experience is backed by two Anthropic certifications — AI Fluency Framework & Foundations and Introduction to Agent Skills — as well as a formal AI Literacy course at UConn where I earned an A, giving me both a conceptual and applied understanding of how large language models work and where they break down. What sets me apart is that I have already been doing the core work of AI training in a real business context — I just wasn't calling it that. Evaluating model outputs against a quality standard, refining inputs to close the gap, and making judgment calls about what good versus poor AI output looks like are skills I built out of necessity while running a company. Combined with a 3.5 GPA, Dean's List recognition, and a track record of self-directed execution, I bring the critical thinking, attention to detail, and genuine intellectual curiosity in AI that this role demands. I am at the beginning of my career and fully focused on building deep expertise in this space — contributing to AI development at the training level is exactly where I want to start.
