Undergraduate Research: IL-1β evaluation via chloroform fraction of Vitellaria paradoxa stem bark in CFA-induced chronic inflammation (Wistar rats)
Conducted immunological biomarker measurement work using ELISA as part of a research study on chronic inflammation in Wistar rats. Applied experimental protocols to prepare and analyze assay outputs for IL-1β quantification and downstream interpretation. Worked with laboratory-generated biological data to support conclusions about inflammatory biomarker levels in the study groups. • ELISA-based biomarker quantification for IL-1β • Data interpretation and experimental analysis • Specimen/assay handling in an immunology context • Support for research reporting based on assay results
