I have worked on AI training projects where a big chunk of the work was honestly just getting the data right cleaning it, labeling it, making sure it actually made sense before anything went near a model. From there, a lot of it was trial and error: adjusting parameters, running experiments, and figuring out why something wasn't performing the way you expected.
