Through my Software Development & AI Internship at Delta IT Network and personal AI projects, I have gained hands-on experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and structured data workflows. I developed an AI-powered NCERT educational chatbot that involved extracting and preprocessing PDF data, document chunking, semantic search, vector embeddings (ChromaDB, Qdrant, FAISS), and integrating LLMs to generate context-aware responses. This work required careful data organization, quality validation, debugging, and iterative refinement to improve retrieval accuracy and response quality. In addition, I have experience working with Python, SQL, JSON, and AI application development, including handling structured datasets, validating outputs, and collaborating on AI-powered features during my internship. While I have not held a dedicated AI data annotation role, my experience evaluating model responses, improving prompts, and building end-to-end LLM applications has given me a solid understanding of AI data quality, annotation workflows, and the importance of producing accurate, consistent, and well-structured training data.
