Freelancer Overview

My AI training experience comes primarily from working AI-natively across every data science project I've run. I use Claude Code and Codex daily; not just as autocomplete, but as a core part of my analytical workflow. That means I've spent years understanding where LLM-generated outputs fail: subtle target leakage, hallucinated joins, plausible-but-wrong feature definitions. Catching those requires the same rigour as designing good training problems; you have to know what correct looks like before you can verify it. On the problem design side, my research work is directly relevant. Both my neonatal early-warning paper and my ECG classification study required designing deterministic, reproducible ML pipelines with verified correct answers; framing the problem precisely, controlling for stochasticity with fixed seeds, and documenting methodology clearly enough that someone else could reproduce the result. That's exactly the skill Mindrift needs: not just someone who can solve data science problems, but someone who can construct them well.

Yes — I have data labeling and annotation experience through projects on Zindi Africa, the continent's leading data science competition platform. Working on Zindi projects involves labeling, validating, and quality-checking datasets for real-world African business and social impact problems across health, agriculture, finance, and NLP domains. Beyond that, I've worked AI-natively for years using Claude Code and Codex daily; which means I've developed a sharp eye for what correctly labeled, well-structured training data looks like versus outputs that are plausible but wrong.
