I've spent over five years doing AI training and data labeling work. I was an AI Data Trainer at Invisible Technologies, a transcriptionist and language quality reviewer at Rev, and a data annotator at Remotasks. Day to day, that's meant going through text, image, audio, and multimodal datasets and checking AI responses for accuracy, reasoning, tone, and whether they actually followed instructions. I'm good at catching the stuff that slips through: hallucinations, half-answers, phrasing that sounds fine but is actually misleading. I stick close to annotation guidelines, keep my consistency scores high, and write feedback that's specific enough for someone to act on. I've also written gold-standard answers and prompts from scratch. My academic side feeds into this too. I have a BA and MA in English with a Digital Humanities focus from the University of Florida, where I took courses in NLP, computational text analysis, logic, and AI ethics. That background is part of why I'm careful with language and editorial judgment. Between the coursework and the years of hands-on review work across remote teams, I'd put myself at expert level when it comes to comparing model outputs, spotting errors, and keeping quality control tight.
