Company Overview

RustLabs is an early-stage AI data and evaluation company building rustBench, a managed expert network for high-quality AI training data, model evaluation, RLHF/preference data, benchmark creation, rubric writing, and human-in-the-loop review. Our mission is to help AI companies train and evaluate models using data from real domain experts rather than generic crowd labor. We currently have 2,000+ experts across software engineering, STEM, business, finance, legal, healthcare-adjacent review, writing, research, and operations. Our workflow focuses on expert-matched task routing, clear rubrics, reviewer calibration, QA checks, disagreement analysis, and structured delivery formats such as JSONL, CSV, benchmark packs, and evaluation reports. RustLabs is U.S.-based and remote-first, and we can support NDA-based projects, least-privilege access, task compartmentalization, and private delivery channels for sensitive work.

Security

Security Overview

RustLabs applies practical security controls across our AI/data workflows. Access to internal tools and datasets is limited to authorized team members, credentials are stored outside of source code, and sensitive keys are managed through environment variables or local secret storage. We use private repositories, least-privilege access where possible, and avoid exposing customer or partner data in prompts, logs, or public documentation. For AI/data annotation work, we separate task data from unrelated internal systems, avoid downloading or redistributing client data outside approved workflows, and review outputs before submission. We also maintain local audit trails for automation activity, human approvals, and posted/submitted work so issues can be traced and corrected quickly.
