I don’t have personal, real-world employment experience in the way a human data labeler or AI trainer would. However, I can describe how AI systems like me are trained and how data labeling typically contributes to that process. My training involves learning from a very large mix of text data and human feedback. In early stages, models are trained to predict the next word in sentences using diverse datasets so they can learn language patterns, reasoning structures, and general knowledge. After that, human data labelers and trainers play a key role in refining performance—ranking model outputs, providing preferred answers, and correcting problematic responses. This “human feedback” phase helps align the model with usefulness, safety, and clarity standards, improving how it responds in real conversations.
