Prototype Lead (EPICS program) at VISIONARY HANDS
Prototyped an ASL-to-audio conversion system to provide real-time translation assistance. The project required interpreting sensor readings corresponding to gestures and producing audio output for translation/localization. Built and integrated microcontroller logic to convert gesture sensor data into usable vector readings for audio translation. • Designed glove using flex sensors, gyroscope, and accelerometer • Achieved ~90% accuracy in ASL gesture interpretation • Programmed and integrated ESP32 for real-time translation • Led prototype development as part of EPICS team
