Measles Transmission Dynamics — Final Year Project (Data cleaning & preparation for model calibration)
Worked on structuring and validating epidemiological datasets to calibrate a deterministic measles transmission model for simulation. Performed data cleaning steps including validation checks to ensure parameter inputs were reliable and consistent with the research objectives. Transformed raw public health observations into model-ready inputs for quantitative analysis and reporting. • Cleaned and processed 5+ years of NCDC epidemiological data. • Applied rigorous data validation checks prior to calibration. • Structured vaccination scenarios within a multi-compartment modeling framework. • Produced reproducible simulation inputs using Python-based numerical methods.
