ML Research Contributor: Directional Well Trajectory Prediction (University of Ibadan)
Built and structured a machine learning dataset from raw directional drilling telemetry to train well trajectory prediction models. Performed feature engineering and validated data integrity across large multi-parameter datasets to ensure high-quality training inputs. Evaluated model outputs for logical consistency and accuracy, flagging errors and inconsistencies and documenting findings. • Applied critical analytical checks to identify dataset and output inconsistencies. • Produced structured technical reports describing methodology and results. • Verified relationships among parameters such as ROP, WOB, RPM, torque, inclination, and azimuth. • Ensured training data quality through iterative review and validation.
