Although I have not worked in a formal data labelling role, I have directly applicable experience in evaluating and refining AI-generated content at scale. As operations lead for my band, I designed and ran an AI-assisted outreach campaign to approximately 900 individually personalised contacts — pitching to playlists, radio shows, blogs and promoters across the UK. This required me to prompt effectively for consistent outputs, identify where the model produced generic or inaccurate responses, and iteratively refine my approach to maintain quality across every message. The result was a campaign that would have been logistically impossible to execute manually, delivered to a standard that required genuine editorial judgement at each stage. My academic background gives me a strong foundation for AI training work more broadly. I am completing a BA in English at the University of Bristol, where I have developed close reading, critical analysis and precise language evaluation skills throughout — including a dissertation examining biographical reductionism in music criticism, which required sustained analysis of how framing and language shape meaning. I also excelled in a creative writing module, giving me the ability to assess writing quality across registers and identify where tone, accuracy or clarity falls short. I am comfortable working independently to a high standard, accustomed to evaluating nuance rather than surface meaning, and confident applying that judgement consistently across large volumes of material.
