In my outstanding graduation project, Smart Fruit Weighing System Based on STM32 and OpenMV, I independently completed the full-process development of the AI fruit recognition module. For the core OpenMV image classification model, I independently finished the entire process of data collection and annotation. To adapt to the recognition requirements in retail scenarios, I collected nearly 1,000 sample images of 8 common types of fruits including apples, bananas, and oranges, covering different lighting intensities, placement angles, and ripeness levels. I manually completed the category labeling and calibration for all samples, addressing the issue of insufficient sample diversity. On this basis, I completed the training and parameter tuning of the lightweight classification model based on TensorFlow Lite, and finally deployed the model to the OpenMV hardware end, achieving a real-time recognition accuracy of over 95%. I have fully mastered the full-cycle AI development capabilities ranging from data labeling and model training to edge-end deployment.
