Lead Researcher | Paleoenvironmental Reconstruction Thesis (ground-truth modeling, statistical synthesis, fact-checking QA)
Led a Paleoenvironmental Reconstruction thesis project involving ground-truth construction from physical core samples and rigorous verification of quantitative data. The project included detailed categorization of grain sizes and microfossils, followed by statistical synthesis to ensure the curation quality of the resulting dataset. Fact-checking and peer-reviewed QA activities were applied to maintain correctness and consistency across the quantitative outputs. • Performed grain size analysis and microfossil identification with exact categorization • Built accurate ground-truth models from 3 physical core samples • Applied statistical methods to synthesize raw physical datasets • Authored and defended the thesis with strict fact-checking and peer-reviewed QA
