# Agency overview

How data labeling companies, agencies, and BPOs use OpenTrain AI: create a company profile, browse projects open to agencies, and send proposals to employers.

An agency account is for a company that provides data labeling, annotation, or AI training services with a team. On OpenTrain AI your company gets a profile that employers can find, browses projects that are open to agencies, and sends proposals to the companies that posted them.

An agency account is a different account type from an individual [AI trainer account](https://www.opentrain.ai/docs/trainers/create-account/). It represents your company: its locations, team size, tools, languages, security practices, pricing, and past projects. If you want to hire AI trainers or an agency instead, see [Create an employer account](https://www.opentrain.ai/docs/employers/create-account/).

## How it works

### Create your agency account

Sign up, choose **I have a Data Labeling Company**, and add your company name and country. See [Create an agency account](https://www.opentrain.ai/docs/agencies/create-account/).

### Complete your agency profile

A seven-step setup collects what employers compare when they choose a partner. See [Complete your agency profile](https://www.opentrain.ai/docs/agencies/profile-setup/).

### Find projects and send proposals

Browse the projects that are open to agencies and send a proposal to the ones that fit your team. See [Find projects and send proposals](https://www.opentrain.ai/docs/agencies/finding-projects/).

### Choose a plan when you need more proposals

The Free plan includes 3 proposals. Basic and Pro let you keep sending proposals, and Basic has a 30-day trial with no card. See [Agency plans and billing](https://www.opentrain.ai/docs/agencies/plans/).

## After setup

When you finish setup, your home page is **My Ongoing Jobs**, the same workspace AI trainers use for their contracts. An agency account has **Find Projects** in the side navigation where an AI trainer account has **Find Jobs**. Your plan is in **Settings**, on the **Subscription** tab.

Your agency account also gets an OpenTrain-managed Work Email address. Open **Work Email** in the side navigation to read and send work-related email, such as project invitations and client tool access. See [Use your Work Email](https://www.opentrain.ai/docs/trainers/work-email/).

## What a plan does not do

> Warning
>
> A plan gives you access to projects and lets you send proposals. It does not guarantee a number of employers, responses, or projects. OpenTrain AI does not sell ranking, paid placement, or a paid list of top agencies, and your plan does not change where your proposals appear. Employers review your proposal and your agency profile and decide for themselves.
